What a charmer! The arched covered entryway, accented with stone, with more rock trim on stucco, make this the cutest home on a street where every home is pretty & modern. Fiona Lane is on the outskirts of Fountain, with open land beyond, yet it is conveniently located near schools, shopping, Ft Carson, etc. Kitchen has had some updating, very nice cabinets with brushed nickel knobs, brushed nickel faucet and so on. This home is loaded with extras and is so distinctive that our drone camera easily spotted it from the air. If you want to enjoy our sunny weather, you want a fenced backyard that faces south. Note the large patio (29x13), concrete stamped and toned to look like stone, rimmed with rose planters. It is not square but an organic shape with half-moon steps, great for entertaining. Grass is struggling like everybody’s. Bearing pear tree in the backyard. Southern sun can also be toasty, so windows on that side feature European rolling shutters, an expensive upgrade that is effective at helping the central air. So nice! Inside you find a very open and inviting greatroom floor plan with an electric fireplace, ceiling fan, a half bath with pedestal sink, all simply charming. Upstairs, we find a loft-office space and two full baths to serve its 3 bedrooms. Lighted ceiling fans are everywhere. Inside the ample garage, there is a hidden ladder that leads down to a large and unique space not mentioned in our sq footage or County records, an unusually tall “crawlspace” (6 ft high between joists and 5 ft below the joists, too short to develop as a proper basement, but a useful space with power, drains and ventilation to the outside. The furnace takes up 20 sq ft, but entire area measures 34x17. What a surprise. The new part of garage door will be painted & carpets cleaned.
